Went to see the 1.0 (you’re not alone). Awesome but with a few deficiencies…

So yeah, I went to watch the movie. It was awesome and stuff (gattling gun and huge ass sniper cannon FTW), though censorship ruin the movie for me. Yes, they cut the scene featuring Rei…chest grope/changing room. I swear that of all the people in the cinema watching that movie, I reckon me and my friend was the only one who watch or knew evangelion before. Most people were either watching it for the first time. Hell, even the guy sitting next to my friend was watching it to kill time before watching Hancock later on and he was yawning non stop by the middle part of the movie.

Unto another subject, most of you in Malaysia knew how screw up the political scene is. If you’re outside good ol M’sia, it’s really messed up here. Won’t go much into that (I am apolotical person ^^) just want to mention that there was a rally held recently by the opposition, and the organiser were saying a million Malaysian would gather at the rally. Suddenly I was reminded by R2, when a million people turn up. spurred by Zero. Had a good laugh with that one ^^. Oh, in case you’re wondering, only 10 grand people turn up.

Yes another stupendously long hiatus from me. It seems that my tales of woe will continue (’_')…

Where to start. Okay,hmm, here goes:

*One of my pc hd partition went belly up (again). With it goes some of my precious data including my collection of….hentai. Oh woe is me.

*My internet connection is non existent for the last 4 weeks. Which mean no anime,manga, no net. Yes, I am so mental right now. And my ISP is doing jack about it (*_*’).

Since my workplace doesn’t allow me to use the pc there for blogging, looks like I will stuck making post from the Cyber Cafe near my place. Sure the connection sucks hard, and it’s not a great situation, I admit but what to do ^^.

Moving on to a happier note, I will be attending the screening of evangelion tomorrow at cineleisure Damansara. Since the ticket at 9 p.m. is all sold out, I have to settled with the 7 o’clock show. Well, be nice if you fellas out there would holler at me (pic of me. I’m the fat guy in the middle. Yeah, it’s nothing much to talk about. Will wear the same polo tees as well.). Oh, before I forgot, a little pressie for whoever first say hi to me. Yes, I am so vain, I know. Hope to see some of you fellas t’rrow.

Thought of doing a post about Traps and blushing bunnies, but since To-Love Ru has reach the big ‘100’, I guess I’ll put that post at the backburner for now. Now, without further ado…

So yeah, I was pretty pump up when I went to 1 Utama today. Brought along the camera and whatnot. Thought that perhaps I will get lucky today.

Alas, it was not to be. When I arrive, none of the mention maids was around. Decide to kill time and via walking/drinking/eating/fooling around. After 2 hours of waiting and checking around (･_･ ) ( ･_･), still no maids. Got weary and decided to go home.

Will be busy like hell tomorrow and Monday as well so most likely I won’t be able to go before the French fair finish on Monday. Guess my luck is going south at the moment ^^.

Addendum: Mizunaga also went to the French Fair but alas, there was no meido in sight. On the other hand, they were also pic’s of the Fair itself (I should have taken some but I was too lazy, orzz).

Was reading through newspaper when I stumble upon the article on the French Fair @ 1 Utama shopping mall. Apparently the French Fair showcase all thing French, from food to fashion etc, etc,etc. Was a bit pique because I somewhat like French coffee & croissant and apparently they will be selling the authentic stuff there. As I continue on reading, this is what I see:

Wait, wait a minute. Maids? Black and white outfits? And yes, there was a small pic of the mentioned maids, which I totally overlook at the first place. Kawaii. The French Fair will end on the 19th May. Looks like I definitely have to visit this French Fair during the weekends then, if nothing pops up ^^. On the other hand, wonder if they will let people take pics of them?

A week after I started the Lucky Star Chara poll, It appear by the result that a majority of you want to see Konata in the upcoming Lucky Star OVA. Kagami came in close second followed by Miyuki. The result can be viewed here.

Rin-sama, Why oh why are you soooo awesome ^^…

First thing first I would like to thanks Mirror Moon for releasing the v 2.0 patch for Fate Stay/Night. I know by now most otaku and their cat who has a copy of FSN must have installed this patch. So yeah, thanks to the patch, I was able to play the Unlimited Blade Works route of Fate Stay/Night. Actually thing didn’t turn out smooth at the beginning. I uninstall my FSN after finishing the Fate route. As I’ve reinstall FSN and were all roaring to go, somehow I was unable to choose the UBW route. WTF, I agitate. Did I choose a wrong option? Turns out that I needed the Fate save data so that I can unlock the UBW route. Actually, afterwards I remember that at the end of Fate route there was a message that says that UBW has been unlock. Sure as hell this is one of those *facepalm.jpg* moment, groan :(.

My love affair with FSN started after I’ve downloaded the HCG. Apart from my hot blooded interest in it, I was taken in by the artwork itself. Something different, mind you. Actually I’ve never heard of any other Type Moon work before. Pique by what I see, I began to dig further to find out what this FSN hullabaloo is all about. In the end it was some helpful soul at wiki who put up all general info as well as the entire story route. I vociferously read through them all, eager as I was to know all about FSN.

Maybe it’s just me, but as I thumb through the wiki entry, I was taken in by the UBW route. The other two routes sounds all right, but I reckon UBW is the best of the bunch (I think I can hear the howl of anger coming from fans of the other two routes). Oh, how I can only fantasise about Rin-sama mega Tsundereness. And what prompted Archer decision during the course gameplay what makes him the epitome of GAR (accidentally my first association with the word GAR came from knowing Archer).

And yes, I was wee bit disappointed when the FSN anime is based on the Fate route, albeit with a mish mash of other route thrown in as well. Well, at least Rin was a joy to behold and archer was a bad ass dude who went out with a bang of glory.

So yeah, with the release of this patch, I can fully experience the UBW route as well as the majestic tsundere goddess that is Rin. Sure, I ended waking like a zombie everyday due to lack of sleep and work was killing me due to the same reason but what the hell, it was worth it ^^.

About 2 weeks ago one of the free to air tv station here did a short ( i mean really short, 20-30 second max) feature about Takarazuka Revue. I was chuckling loudly throughout during the feature and my parents were looking at me real weird, lol.

The reason for my mirth because the Takarazuka Revue reminded me of the Zuka Club in Ouran High School Host Club. I mean, who can forget their crazy antics in Ouran High. And earlier someone told me that the Zuka Club was based on the Takarazuka Revue . So I unconsciously make the connection between those two while watching the featurette.

Still, sure as heck I won’t forget the look on the face of my parents while they see their son chuckling at a bunch of female actors dressed like male belting out a tune ^^…

Somewhat late with this, I know…

Just read this awesome piece of news at ANN. First thing I did was blurt out a loud ‘SWEEEET’ which scared my cat nearby (sorry po’kok ^^). Yes, oh yes, more Kagamin makes me very happy indeed.

More info will be available in the June issue of COMPTIQ. Hopefully the OVA will turn out great…
