An otaku(?) in Malaysia

Thanks to my combination of sloth and busyness, I didn’t finish watching Myself ; Yourself recently…

The overall storyline was decent, I guess. I mean a good chunk of the storyline arc was somewhat predictable that at times it begins to bore me. But the character interaction was definitely above average and that save Myself ; Yourself from being a total boredom of an anime.

Of the entire arc, I prefer Nanaka arc the best. I mean I can feel her pain of remembering something that bitter. Remembering how your dad snuffing the life out of your mom sure ranks top of stuff you don’t want remember. And although I don’t condone it, I think I can understand why she tried to kill herself. The mark of a good anime is when the audience empathise with the character situation and that what I felt here.

As for the animation quality of Myself ; Yourself, I reckon it was decent enough. The seiyū did a good job though it feels weird every time I hear Aoi voice as it remind me of Chiyo, Lol.

Beside that Nanaka is the current fav Tsundere chara for me at the moment. Can’t get enough of her dere-dere’ness. Though it’s kinda freaky to hear Nanaka comment in her character song. I can imagine her saying it with a totally deadpan face ^^.

Btw, if any of you out there is playing the Myself ; Yourself game or have additional info about it, can you give a lowdown of Fujimura Yuzuki story within the game? Since she got her won chara song, I presume that she is one of the heroines within the game.
