An otaku(?) in Malaysia

I swear that stuff about Suzumiya Haruhi is getting weirder and weirder…And a chibi Haruhi?

Read an article at ann about more new details concerning the second season of our favourite master and overlord of the universe, Suzumiya Haruhi. Betcha most people will go ‘eh?’ when the site just disappeared when they decided to release the info. And I reckon most people must be scratching their head until someone have figured out the password to access the info (read the article and you will know what I mean). I tried it myself. Kinda freaky and awesome, I reckon. Feels like Yuki is speaking to you ^^. Yuki will ask you for confirmation to start the “emergency escape program”.

After that the screen to the picture shown above. I swear it get surreal at times ^^.

From what I’ve read so far, KyoAni will still be animating the second season. I reckon I’m fine with it as they did a more than decent job on the first season. There will be a change of director as Takemoto Yasuhiro (Full Metal Panic, FMP: Fumoffu, FMP: TSR, Lucky Star) will be the director for the second season. I LOl a bit when it said that the leader of this project will be none other than Haruhi herself. The site hinted that the new season will be base on the fourth volume of the novel ‘The Disappearance of Suzumiya Haruhi’. Well, it sounds like that it will be long time coming till the second season premier. Till then I’ll be content playing eyeball with Haruhi and or maybe even Yuki ^^.

On another note can anybody read the caption next to the character in the picture below?

I found this while browsing through the Suzumiya Haruhi No Yakusoku website. It was located in the character section. It looks like a child version Haruhi so I thought but I’m pretty sure that the name of the character is different from Haruhi. Help anybody?
